Surround yourself with good people
For anyone chasing their ambitions, making sure you have the right people in your corner is key. The people around you are bound to influence your decisions, your mind, and your mood. If you have the right people in your ear they will push you to achieve and grow, holding you accountable for your actions and lack there of. On the other hand, when you are surrounded by the wrong people, it is detrimental. If those around you are unmotivated, lack accountability, and spew negativity, you will slowly start to emulate those qualities. So take a look at your inner circle. Would those people be happy when you succeed. Are they willing to help you grow into the person you want to be? To hold you accountable when you need it most? Or are they people who would rather you stay in the same place in life. Would they be jealous if you got what you wish for? If you are realizing you fit into the second category then it's time to start building. Make connections, reach out to those who are focused and determined and make the effort. Be ready, when you make progress, people will try to be apart of what you are building. But jealousy is just a combination of love and hate. So remember those who were with you before any signs of success, and especially take note of those who helped you achieve said success. You are the average of the five people you spend your time around. So make sure you are spending it wisely.
